Last Christmas we decided that we wanted to explore something else than the traditional Christmas Holiday, and traveled to Las Vegas and stayed one week at Bellagio.
The Christmas spirit was filled by the amazing exhibition at the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden, and not at least the Fountains of Bellagio gorgeous compositions.
It can be a bit crowdy during the daytime, but if you are an early bird, you can have some really good moments, both in the conservatory and in the coffee shop and cafés. There are a lot of really good restaurants at the Bellagio, we tried both Lago, Prime, Olives and Jasmine, and truly enjoyed dinners at each. We tried Harvest and Petrossian for a drink – very nice places.
So you don’t have to leave the hotel to have some good moments. We wanted to try the well-known buffet as well, but we are not used to standing in line for so long time 🙂 We had a buffet at Hotel Paris instead.
Las Vegas is a fun and exciting city. We stayed for a week, but did not get bored, just wanted to explore more. And we did not spend time on the Casinos..
We can’t wait to og back to Las Vegas and explore more. We had one day in the Grand Canyon – that is a must for us when travelling so far. We spent one day bus sightseeing, and had a longer stop downtown of Las Vegas. A completely different atmosphere than on The Strip.
Both Bellagio and Las Vegas were wonderful, and I recommend strongly everyone to pay a visit there.
